Top-10 finish in Dave Kittey Memorial at Latrobe Speedway
A pair of Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Racing Series (ULMS) events over the weekend brought Logan Zarin to Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.) on Friday to kick off the doubleheader with the track’s Night of Power.
Chasing a $5,000 payday in Friday’s opener, Zarin rebounded after going to the tail on lap 12 with a 12th-place finish.
On Saturday at Latrobe (PA) Speedway for the Dave Kittey Memorial, Logan squeezed into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Starting in 10th, Zarin muscled forward two positions in the 30-lapper to finish eighth.
Logan climbed to third in the latest ULMS point standings.
